The Scarpa Vega HA High Mountain Boot is the new version of the classic boot that has stood on the summit of many of the world's biggest peaks. This now has a much improved inner that is capable of coping with the world's highest and coldest places and is quite up to tackling 800m+ peaks. This new inner was made for the Indian Army ca 2003 and has been designed to cope with both high altitude use and squadies. It is thus both very warm and very tough. It has also been well tried and tested. Very approximate guide to altitude/conditions this boot is suitable for: 8000m+ (ie Scottish winter, summer and winter alpine and all himalayan peaks).
